Job description
We’re working on some of the UK’s most high-risk, technically complex infrastructure challenges, delivering true end-to-end solutions across geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering.
If you’re looking for frontline engineering work, real ownership, and the chance to solve complex problems—not just process paperwork—this could be your next move.
The Role
We’re looking for a Geofile Package Manager to join a major infrastructure project, embedded within a tier one delivery partner / major client environment and interfacing with highway authorities.
This is a client-facing position where you’ll play a key role in managing and delivering geotechnical data packages that underpin major infrastructure decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Producing and managing geotechnical data (geofiles)
- Coordinating ground investigation data
- Providing interpretation and technical feedback from site testing
- Supporting design development with geotechnical input
- Preparing submissions for formal approval processes
- Engaging with the Technical Approval Authority (TAA) for sign-off
What Makes This Role Different
- Full project ownership across civils, structures, and geotechnical
- Work on complex, high-risk projects that larger consultancies won’t take on
- Be at the front line of engineering problem-solving
- Direct exposure to clients and key decision-makers
- Clear opportunity for the role to grow and develop into leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in geotechnical engineering / geofile management
- Exposure to project delivery and coordination
- Strong communication skills for a client-facing environment
- A proactive mindset—someone who enjoys solving real engineering challenges
What You’ll Get
- Dedicated training and mentorship for those who want to progress
- A supportive environment that values technical excellence and initiative
- Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home
If you’re ready to step into a role where your work genuinely matters—and where you’ll be trusted to take ownership—we’d love to hear from you.
