This is a great opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to take a leading role in delivering complex infrastructure projects. This is a key technical leadership position, where you’ll guide design teams, influence strategic decisions, and help deliver innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions.

You’ll work closely with Project Design Leads and stakeholders, providing technical direction, ensuring robust design delivery, and driving value across a diverse portfolio of projects. From large-scale programmes to more specialised schemes, your expertise will be central to successful outcomes.

• Leading the design and technical delivery of national infrastructure projects
• Providing technical assurance, governance and oversight
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement across design practices
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards
• Supporting project budgets, timelines and commercial performance
• Representing the business externally and contributing to industry thought leadership

To be successful in this area, we would be looking for the following: -

• Chartered Engineer (or working towards)
• Strong background in civil or environmental engineering, preferably with water experience
• Extensive experience in design, technical leadership, and regulatory compliance
• Solid understanding of the commercial landscape
