The Opportunity


We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer who’s passionate about problem solving, supporting customers, and keeping high performance automation systems running at their best.

In this hands on role, you’ll deliver world‑class service through:


  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • On‑site troubleshooting and repairs
  • Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Technical training for end users
  • Full machine analysis to drive maximum productivity


You'll be a key technical partner to our customers, ensuring they get the very best out of their equipment—wherever they are in the world.


What You’ll Do


Technical Support & Maintenance


  • Act as a first‑line technical expert, always presenting yourself with professionalism and positivity.
  • Carry out diagnostics, repairs and complex maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical and mechatronic systems.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose proactive solutions to enhance machine performance.


Customer Excellence


  • Deliver high‑quality technical training and advice on‑site.
  • Maintain detailed service reports and update internal teams on progress and issues.
  • Support customers remotely via phone, email or online tools.
  • Promote after‑sales services and highlight areas for future support.


Safety & Compliance


  • Work safely, following all Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Use correct PPE and contribute to creating a safe, risk‑controlled environment.
  • Apply sound understanding of PUWER, COSHH, safe isolation (LOTO) and other key safety standards.


Travel


  • Travel worldwide to support customers (valid UK passport and full driving licence required).
  • Manage your own workload effectively, prioritising tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
