Salary: £46,750 per annum + Performance & Safety Bonus

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and driven Field Manager – Domestic Dual Fuel to support our growing metering operations across the Northeast and Southern Scotland.

Reporting into the Head of Operations, this role is critical in leading field performance, coaching engineers, and ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

You’ll be responsible for supporting the field force through technical guidance, audits, and performance management, helping to deliver operational excellence across all metering activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive field performance, completion rates, and safe installations
  • Champion safety, compliance, and customer service excellence
  • Support and improve energy efficiency performance
  • Coach, mentor, and develop field engineers
  • Provide technical escalation and abort/jeopardy support
  • Conduct planned and reactive site visits
  • Carry out audits (WIP / PC / DT)
  • Investigate complaints and ensure effective resolution
  • Ensure compliance with stock and data processes
  • Promote safe and responsible driving of company vehicles
  • Support onboarding and development of new engineers


Professional & Personal Attributes

  • Extensive experience in dual fuel metering (essential)
  • Previous supervisory or field management experience
  • Strong knowledge of smart metering operations and compliance
  • Experience with Three Phase and/or Gas Medium Pressure (desirable)
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within region
