Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Key Information:
London - 3 days a week in office
£65,000 to £75,000
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a HV energy infrastructure project based in London. This is a key commercial role within a contractor-led environment, offering the opportunity to work on complex and high-value energy works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of the project under NEC4 contracts
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, and reporting, including CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations)
- Lead procurement activities and manage the supply chain effectively
- Administer subcontractor packages, including valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Implement and manage robust change control processes
- Produce accurate and timely commercial reports for senior stakeholders
- Support project delivery teams to ensure commercial success and compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within HV / energy / utilities projects
- Strong working knowledge and practical application of NEC4 contracts
- Experience working on the contractor side (essential)
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Supply chain management
- Procurement
- CVRs and financial reporting
- Change management
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
