Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Key Information:

London - 3 days a week in office

£65,000 to £75,000

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a HV energy infrastructure project based in London. This is a key commercial role within a contractor-led environment, offering the opportunity to work on complex and high-value energy works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of the project under NEC4 contracts
• Oversee cost control, forecasting, and reporting, including CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations)
• Lead procurement activities and manage the supply chain effectively
• Administer subcontractor packages, including valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Implement and manage robust change control processes
• Produce accurate and timely commercial reports for senior stakeholders
• Support project delivery teams to ensure commercial success and compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within HV / energy / utilities projects
• Strong working knowledge and practical application of NEC4 contracts
• Experience working on the contractor side (essential)
• Demonstrated expertise in:
• Supply chain management
• Procurement
• CVRs and financial reporting
• Change management
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
