G2 Recruitment has a great opportunity for a Technical Writer to join our client. The role will be mainly remote from the UK, with regular travel to the Amsterdam area. The client is a Dutch company going through a tender process for the MOD.

The client is an equipment company specialising in the Aerospace and Automotive industries, supporting manufacturers and end clients with electronic equipment.

The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience in the Defence, Aviation or Aerospace industries, supporting bid and tender documentation and applications. Any MOD experience or similar is very beneficial. The bid will be submitted through the DE&S framework.

TECHNICAL WRITER – BID/TENDER SUPPORT

START: ASAP – The Client will interview on Wednesday and Thursday this week, an immediate start is feasible.

CONTRACT LENGTH: 4-6 Months

LOCATION: Mainly Remote in the UK with travel to the Amsterdam region, Netherlands

Technical Writer: Essential Skills

• Experience in technical writing for tender/bid support documentation
• Working history in the Defence, Aviation, Aerospace, or similar industries
• Experience within the MOD or similar work very beneficial – DE&S is ideal
• Any other knowledge of certification standards/industry standards
• Any experience/knowledge of aviation/defence equipment manufacturing
• Knowledge of UK defence frameworks for bids and tenders is very beneficial

The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates work mainly remotely from the UK, with some initial travel to understand the company and products, and then travelling on an ad hoc basis as and when required. The client would cover the costs for travel (reimbursable flights) and provide accommodation in country.
