I’m currently supporting a highly regarded, global engineering organisation in the search for a Lead Electronics Engineer to join their UK-based product development team.

This is a key technical leadership role, offering the opportunity to guide a small team delivering cutting-edge electronic platforms for complex, high-performance systems used in demanding industrial applications.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading electronics development across the full lifecycle (requirements → validation → release)
• Driving innovation in areas such as power electronics, motor control, and high-speed digital systems
• Mentoring engineers and setting technical direction within the team
• Collaborating with product, manufacturing, and global engineering teams
• Supporting both new product introduction (NPI) and existing product improvements

• Strong background in electronics design (analogue, digital, power)
• Experience working on real-world, manufacturable products
• Understanding of EMC, reliability, and regulated environments
• Proven ability to lead or mentor engineers
