Contract Opportunity: Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure)

We are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to support the build and operation of a Red Hat-based platform in Microsoft Azure. This platform underpins a Representative Test Environment (RTE), enabling end-to-end testing of new and evolving ICT systems.

Location: Remote (with occasional workshops in London & Corsham/Bristol)

Contract Length: March 2026 – June 2026

Day Rate: Up to £680 per day

Clearance: Active SC clearance required

The Role

You will play a key role in engineering, building, and operating a secure, stable cloud platform that supports through-life testing activities. Working closely with technical leads, delivery teams, and stakeholders, you’ll help ensure the environment accurately reflects production and enables effective validation of system changes.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
• Solid background in DevOps practices and tooling
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering
• Understanding of application architecture
• Proven stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with Red Hat-based platforms

Additional Info

• Remote-first role with occasional on-site collaboration
• Must be able to attend workshops in London and Corsham (Bristol) when required
