Building Safety & FM Coordinator (Residential/BTR)
Location: London (Hybrid – Central London HQ + Multi-site travel)
We are working with a residential property operator to recruit a Building Safety & FM Coordinator to support a portfolio of residential buildings.
This role would suit someone currently working as a Building Manager, Property Manager or within Facilities Management who is looking to develop further within building safety and compliance.
The Role
You will support multiple sites, splitting your time between the office, site visits and home working. The focus of the role is to help ensure buildings remain compliant and that all safety related actions are properly tracked, managed and completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) actions across sites
- Support remedial works relating to fire doors, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and ventilation systems
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
- Conduct site visits and follow up on identified issues
- Liaise with contractors and on-site teams to coordinate works
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and documentation
About You
- Experience within residential property, Build to Rent or a similar environment
- Background in building management, property management or facilities management
- Some exposure to compliance, building safety, or health & safety
- Basic understanding of fire and life safety systems
- Highly organized, proactive and comfortable working across multiple locations
Desirable Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely
- NEBOSH certification
