About the Company: We are looking for a driven and proactive Sales Manager to help grow our client’s customer base, strengthen existing relationships, and support the continued company success. Based at our client’s office in Devon, this varied role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing key accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service.


About the Role: Are you a proactive Sales Manager with livestock experience who is able to lead and develop an internal sales team? As a proven salesperson, you will possess strong sales management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of commercial awareness. You will be confident in building long-lasting relationships, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, and driving sales performance across the region. Working closely with the team, you will play a key role in supporting customers and contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a practical, customer-facing role where no two days are not the same, and who is eager to make an impact whilst developing their career within a supportive and dynamic company.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by developing new business and expanding existing customer accounts
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular communication and meetings
  • Lead and develop a high performing collaborative sales team
  • Deliver excellent customer service by managing enquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate across the business to improve sales performance and customer experience
  • Stay informed on market trends and represent the business at trade shows and industry events


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales management role
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of delivering results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage across all audiences
  • An understanding of agriculture and livestock farming
  • Strong commercial awareness, able to identify business opportunities and drive growth
  • Skilled relationship builder, confident in developing and maintaining long-term business relations
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently
  • Strong customer service skills, consistently seeking to deliver a seamless and positive customer journey
  • Approachable, professional, and able to represent the business with integrity
  • Driven, ambitious, and results-focused
  • Proficient in IT systems, including CRM platforms
