Job description

FAKRO GB, a leading manufacturer in the roof window and loft ladder industry, is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Southern Regional Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This role will be key in managing and nurturing relationships with our customers, ensuring their current needs are met, in addition to driving business growth through the execution of our current sales strategies.


You will work in close collaboration with the Commercial Director and Southern Business Development team to ensure that the growth opportunities within the South of Englard & Wales are maximised and new business opportunities are obtained.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within your region, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.


Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, support and develop team members by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback and coaching, addressing performance or conduct issues fairly, and fostering a positive, inclusive working environment that enables individuals and the team to perform at their best.


Territory Management

  • Lead the Southern Regional team to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the South of England & Wales. At all times acting as the primary point of contact to the Southern team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are met at all times.


Revenue Growth

  • Driving the sales strategy; identify opportunities for the selling of FAKRO products, developing revenue growth within new avenues across the Southern Region.


Market Analysis

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats within the Southern Region, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with key-decision makers across the target industries.


CRM Activity

  • Future proofing through development of a healthy sales pipeline while actively managing the customer base alongside the team in the Southern Region.  


Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client needs and product offerings.


Training and Support

  • Provide training and support to the Southern team and key clients regarding product knowledge and sales techniques.


Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in an external sales managerial role, preferably within the building materials or construction industry sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing a team to achieve success in sales.


Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Performance driven with a key desire to meet targets.
  • Have a full UK Driving Licence & Valid UK Passport.
