We are working with a globally successful food ingredients business. We are looking for a highly dynamic and experienced National Account Manager who will be responsible for the growth and profit of specific Wholesale, and Distribution accounts throughout the UK.

As an ambitious, experienced and highly motivated individual you will be able to quickly build relationships with customers and have a strong understanding of how to drive growth through these customers. This is a large and complex business environment, so the ability to work cross-functionally and be a team player is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of Distributor Account Strategies with specific ongoing plans including sales promotion, targets, range selection/extensions, advertising and communication, events, exhibitions and demonstrations
• Build and develop mutually beneficial joint business plans
• Collect and analyse sales and account data, providing clear insights and recommendations
• Manage trade marketing tools from conception through execution, delivery, and evaluation
• Make recommendations to central marketing on new products, ranges, and tools
• Monitor and control relevant budgets
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders beyond buyers (Marketing, Sales, Logistics)
• Leverage distributor relationships to create partnerships with major end users and internal key account teams to drive new opportunities, distribution, and growth
• Manage the Academy link to provide innovative application solutions and support trade development
• General account management: pricing, logistics, complaints, new product forms, reporting
