Key Account Manager

Contract: 12‑month fixed term

Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Car Allowance

Territory: London & Southeast


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets for assigned brands through effective key account management.
  • Develop and regularly review strategic account plans to optimise use of internal and external resources and drive sales growth.
  • Create and maintain a positive environment within the territory for all promoted products.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the local health economy to support patient access to key brands.
  • Maintain strong territory knowledge, including gathering competitor insights and sharing relevant intelligence with the wider brand team to maximise opportunities.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and other support teams to deliver aligned objectives.
  • Stay up to date on the NHS environment at both National and local levels, including knowledge of funding pathways and NHS England structures.


Essential Requirements

  • Degree-level education in a Business or Science discipline.
  • Excellent IT proficiency.
  • Experience working within Endocrinology.
  • Ideally 3+ years of branded pharmaceutical sales experience, selling to secondary care specialists.
  • Experience engaging with strategic NHS stakeholders, including NHS England.
  • Demonstrated sales success within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong existing networks within ICBs (advantageous).
  • Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to adapt as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
