About the Company

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded family-run construction and facilities management business based in Basildon, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their close-knit and supportive team.

About the Role

This role would suit a hands-on Project Manager with a strong background in estimating, cost planning, and delivering projects within facilities management or construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fabric team and oversee day-to-day operations
• Deliver construction and FM projects from inception to completion
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, and quotations (£2k–£200k)
• Manage works via the helpdesk system and track progress
• Lead client/internal meetings and present project updates
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Ensure health & safety compliance, including RAMS
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and project trackers
• Carry out estimating tasks and supplier enquiries
• Interpret technical drawings and manage onsite activities

Qualifications

Experience as a Project Manager within construction or FM

Required Skills

• Strong estimating, pricing, and cost control experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Good knowledge of fit-out/fabric works and H&S
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
