Key Account Manager
Contract: 12‑month fixed term
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Car Allowance
Territory: London & Southeast
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for assigned brands through effective key account management.
- Develop and regularly review strategic account plans to optimise use of internal and external resources and drive sales growth.
- Create and maintain a positive environment within the territory for all promoted products.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the local health economy to support patient access to key brands.
- Maintain strong territory knowledge, including gathering competitor insights and sharing relevant intelligence with the wider brand team to maximise opportunities.
- Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and other support teams to deliver aligned objectives.
- Stay up to date on the NHS environment at both National and local levels, including knowledge of funding pathways and NHS England structures.
Essential Requirements
- Degree-level education in a Business or Science discipline.
- Excellent IT proficiency.
- Experience working within Endocrinology.
- Ideally 3+ years of branded pharmaceutical sales experience, selling to secondary care specialists.
- Experience engaging with strategic NHS stakeholders, including NHS England.
- Demonstrated sales success within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong existing networks within ICBs (advantageous).
- Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to adapt as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
