We are partnering with a leading global financial services platform seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow strategic institutional relationships.


This London-based role will focus on overseeing a portfolio of large, complex clients—primarily global banks and financial institutions - ensuring long-term partnership success, revenue growth, and high-quality service delivery.


The successful candidate will bring a strong track record in managing senior stakeholders, navigating complex organisations, and driving commercial outcomes across enterprise-level accounts.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key institutional clients, with a focus on global banks and large financial institutions
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with stakeholders including Heads of Business, Operations, Finance, and Technology
  • Drive account growth through identifying new opportunities, cross-selling, and upselling solutions
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction
  • Lead regular client reviews, strategic planning sessions, and governance meetings
  • Partner with internal teams across product, delivery, and client services to ensure seamless execution
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments and manage multiple workstreams across large organisations


Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience in account management, client coverage, or relationship management within financial services
  • Proven experience managing large institutional clients, ideally global banks
  • Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (C-suite and senior leadership)
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of growing accounts and delivering revenue
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working within global platforms or financial technology providers is advantageous
  • Based in London
