Post Completions Assistant Stoke-on-Trent

A well-established and busy law firm is seeking a Post Completions Assistant to join its Residential Conveyancing team in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and organised department where you will play a key role in ensuring matters are progressed smoothly from completion through to registration.

What youll be doing:

Taking responsibility for residential conveyancing files from completion to registration, including matters such as:

  • Leasehold transactions

  • Shared ownership

  • New build properties

  • Right to Buy cases

You will also:

  • Prepare and submit AP1 applications to HM Land Registry

  • Handle Land Registry requisitions and respond within required timescales

  • Monitor and update registrations once completed

  • Keep portals, lender panels and relevant systems updated

  • Review account ledgers and assist with file closure processes

  • Maintain accurate and compliant file management

  • Liaise with clients, agents and referrers to maintain strong working relationships

  • Deliver a high standard of client service

  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members where required

  • Work with Microsoft Office and a case management system (training available)

About You:
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a post-completions role within residential conveyancing

  • Confident handling registrations and Land Registry requisitions

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Able to manage deadlines and compliance requirements effectively

  • A clear and professional communicator with good client care skills

  • Comfortable using case management systems and general IT software
