Be among the first 25 applicantsOverview A friendly and diverse Secondary School in Westminster is searching for a SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join their friendly, supportive, and successful team. This role will begin ASAP, supporting pupils across KS3, KS4 and KS5 with students requiring additional support due to various SEND/SEMH needs.Base pay range — This range is provided by EdEx - Education Recruitment. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Responsibilities Provide support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needsWork alongside a supportive, friendly, and determined inclusion staffFacilitate the differentiation of tasks for studentsWork with small groups or individual students on specific tasksEngage with high-quality and bespoke CPD providedSupport an outgoing graduate ready for the next stage of their careerBe hardworking, committed, and excited to help all pupils flourishDemonstrate flexibility, open-mindedness, and strong communication skillsShow genuine passion for working in educationPossess experience or awareness of young people with possible barriers to learningQualifications and characteristics Psychology graduates or related fields interested in Education, Therapy, Psychological Research, Mental Health, Speech and Language, and related areasGenuine interest in pursuing a career in educationHardworking, reliable, and able to work effectively with pupils across KS3–KS5Ability to work within an inclusion team and with teachers and SLTAbout the School Modern secondary school with excellent facilitiesLocated in Westminster with good public transport accessPlenty of CPD opportunitiesRole details Position: SEMH Learning Support AssistantSalary: £24,500 per annumStarting: September 2025If you are interested in this SEMH Learning Support Assistant role, apply now.
