We are seeking a talented Part Time Graphic Designer to support our branding and marketing efforts at our fast-paced agency based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

CDA exists to make digital, human. We're a full-service digital agency specialising in software development, eCommerce, customer experience and digital marketing. We value simplicity, avoiding complexity and jargon.

This opportunity will see the successful candidate translate ideas into compelling, creative designs across digital and print applications for both CDA and our clients.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented individual to join our team on a part-time basis. You will work closely with our project managers, developers and client stakeholders to design visual assets across a wide range of brands and applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Designing visual assets for digital and print, including brand collateral, marketing materials, promotional videos and social media and website graphics

Collaborating with account management and marketing teams to develop creative concepts

Occasional web and mobile app design

Assisting other members of the design team and other departments when necessary

Visually testing applications once built

Participating in client meetings, translating briefs and feedback into visually striking, creative deliverables

Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preparing final files for production or publishing

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Proven experience as a graphic designer or similar role

GCSE's minimum grade C/4, including English & Maths

Degree in Graphic Design (or a relevant field)

Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma. Knowledge or experience in After Effects is desirable

Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity and ideas across online and offline

A keen visual eye, with an understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and branding

Understanding of website user experience is desirable but not a necessity

Good customer and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively

Excellent time-management and organizational skills

Comfortable working on multiple projects with varying deadlines

Located within a 1-hour commute of Hitchin, Hertfordshire
