Trainee Tax Advisor – Private Client TaxWe have a range of interesting roles within the Private Client Tax team, focused on personal tax returns, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Estates, and working with entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities

Prepare personal tax returns and Capital Gains Tax returns.

Gain exposure to other tax disciplines such as Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Estates.

Assist seniors within the team and learn from their experience.

Work on real projects with a chance to interact with clients.

Collaborate with wider teams and pods while working autonomously.

Deliver high quality work as part of your team or pod.

What you can expect

Full study support toward gaining your ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualification, plus additional support from our Early Careers Managers.

Placement within one of Private Client Tax or associated pods.

Assistance from seniors, with potential to become a senior in 2.5–4 years.

Ideal candidate

Interest in being a Tax Adviser and/or in the Tax sector.

GCSE Grade 5+ in English and Maths.

School leavers with ≥120 UCAS points.

2:1 in any university degree (not limited to maths, accounting, finance, business) or equivalent qualifications.

Comfortable with a scheme that mixes studying and working.

Strong project‐management, organisational, and problem‐solving abilities with examples to demonstrate.

Willingness to learn and receive continuous feedback to grow in your accountancy journey.
