Are you a psychology graduate looking for valuable experience?An amazing specialist school in the heart of Oxford is on the hunt for an Autism Support Assistant to join their team starting ASAP.The School Hiring an Autism Support Assistant: An amazing specialist school, highly regarded in their area.Cater for children who have a primary diagnosis of Autism.Focus on helping these children access their education in the same way as their mainstream peers.Each child has an individualised plan and curriculum.Facilitate and focus on providing specialist education, where educators and the multi-disciplinary team provide personalised and specific interventions to support learning.Offer a supportive environment where you will be making a difference day in and day out.Engage in really rewarding work while adding valuable experience to your CV.What the Role Entails: Facilitating and providing specific interventions to aid in the children's learning.Facilitating a safe and secure environment for learning.Encouraging students to achieve their best academically while also contributing to their personal growth.Keeping track of their academic achievements.Understanding the importance of safeguarding.Qualities Needed: Kind, caring, and compassionate.Determination to make a difference in the lives of the students.Patience and willingness to adapt your approach to meet the needs of the students.Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is advantageous but not essential.Enhanced DBS check required; we can facilitate your application if you don't have one.Important Information: Position: Autism Support AssistantLocation: OxfordPay: £80 - £95 per dayFull-time or part-time roles availableASAP startTraining providedAmazing experience*Candidates need to have the right to live and work in the UK.
