We're currently recruiting full-time and part-time Care Assistants to join our dedicated team supporting service users across North Hertfordshire.

Ashwell, Codicote, Kimpton, Ickleford, Knebworth, Pirton, Whitwell, Wymondley, St Ippolyts, Barkway, Sandon

Weekdays (Mon–Fri): £13.00 per hour

Mileage allowance: £0.30p per mile

Our services run 7 days a week, offering flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle:

Day Shifts: 8:00/9:00 AM – 2:00/3:00 PM

Evening Shifts: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Sleep-in/Waking nights Shifts: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job DescriptionWhat You'll Be Doing

As a Care Professional, you'll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that put dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.

You'll help with:

Supporting with personal care – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming

Assisting with medication – preparation and administration

Helping with mobility and using aids/equipment safely

Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support

Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning

Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships

What Else You'll Help With

Companionship – conversations, activities, outings

Mobility Assistance – transfers, walking support, use of aids

Health Monitoring – observing and reporting changes in condition

Social Inclusion – helping maintain community and family connections

Emotional Support – empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear

Safety & Emergency Response – creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed

Collaboration – working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families

QualificationsWhat You'll Need (Besides a Cape & Superpowers!)

Experience isn't essential – we'll provide full training. What matters is your compassion, resilience, and eagerness to learn.

Compassion and respect for others

A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (especially in rural areas – think Road Runner with kindness!)
