This standalone role is perfect for someone who thrives on autonomy and has a solid track record of running monthly payroll from start to finish, and is well versed in working within a fast-paced organisation.This is a part-time position (3 days per week) based in Edinburgh, offered on a hybrid basis, with a strong package of benefits and a collaborative company culture.Key ResponsibilitiesRun payroll independently on a monthly basis for 300+ employees using SAGEManage full-cycle payroll duties including processing timesheets, contract changes, starters, and leaversCalculate statutory and company sick pay entitlementsPrepare and submit HMRC reports and payroll summaries for month-endManage queries from managers and staff regarding pay and legislationCollaborate with the wider accounts and HR teams to support accurate reporting and documentationRequirementsStrong experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally in a standalone roleSolid understanding of payroll legislation, statutory entitlements, and HMRC reporting timelinesHigh attention to detail and ability to manage confidential dataWhat's On OfferSalary up to £36,000 pro-rataHybrid working, 3 days per week40% staff discount across the brandFurther discounts with premium partner brandsAdditional annual leave, including a birthday holidayFree parking in Edinburgh city centreIf you're looking for a new opportunity in a highly successful and thriving organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
