Location: Scotland Commutable to Rosyth

Salary: £23,400

The roleWe are looking to hire a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor at our Rosyth Office, Scotland.

The role requires no prior knowledge or experience we provide full training and support to help you obtain qualifications in:

P402 – Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings

As a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor, you will be accompanying qualified professionals on site to:

Carry out asbestos surveys, management and refurbishment and demolition type surveys

Create reports and advise clients on H&S recommendations and asbestos management

Build and maintaining customer relations, and occasionally help manage site contractor

You will help carry these activities out while learning the correct procedures under the current legislation, using tablets to record your findings and build reports and site drawings.

Skills and Essential Requirements

UK driving licence required

Have effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with contractors

Have a strong work ethic

Have strong IT skills

Be flexible in your approach to working hours

Be self‐motivated and able to work as part of a team

Be competent in literacy and numeracy to construct accurate reports
