Pay: £26,227.50 - £27,378 per annum (dependent on experience). Pro rata for part‐time hours

Key Responsibilities

Work with young people to promote independence through education, household tasks and life skills.

Update online care records and complete medication administration.

Maintain general upkeep and tidiness of the home.

Support young people with daily living activities to improve independence.

Assist with transition to community living: medication self‐administration, education, public transport and appointments.

Encourage participation in recreational activities, theme parks, horse riding, driving lessons and camping trips.

Essential Requirements

Flexibility with working shifts including weekends and bank holidays.

Good written skills: basic reports and accurate record keeping.

Basic IT skills: forms, online care system, email.

Good verbal communication and listening skills.

Maintain professional working boundary.

Remain calm in emergencies and support during difficult situations.

NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Care.

Previous experience working with young people with mental health needs (preferred).

Full UK driving licence – manual only; able to drive service car unsupervised.

Desirable Criteria

Experience working with young people who have emotional/trauma‐related diagnoses and self‐harm.
