As a Graduate Field Service Engineer , you will begin your engineering career in a hands‐on, customer‐facing role where you will be supported through structured training, mentoring, and on‐the‐job learning. You will work alongside experienced engineers to service, calibrate, commission, and support electronic and mechanical process control instrumentation across a variety of industries.

This role is designed for recent graduates who are keen to develop strong technical foundations, problem‐solving skills, and professional confidence in a real‐world engineering environment. You will gradually build responsibility as your capability grows, with clear development pathways and long‐term career opportunities within Endress+Hauser.

As a Graduate Field Service Engineer, you will combine technical learning with real‐world application, gaining exposure to customer sites, industrial processes, and advanced measurement technologies.

Which tasks will you perform as a Graduate Field Service Engineer?

Assisting with commissioning, calibration, servicing, and repair of on‐site instrumentation

Learning fault diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques

Working closely with Service Coordinators to ensure tools, spares, and documentation are prepared

Communicating with customers ahead of site visits

Following quality and safety standards

Travelling throughout the UK and occasionally internationally

Completing service reports

Supporting senior engineers and other departments

What do we expect from you?

Degree (or expected degree) in Engineering

Strong interest in field‐based engineering

Willingness to learn

Customer‐focused approach

Flexibility to travel

Full UK driving licence
