Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Colchester

A well established specialist contractor based in Colchester is seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects while developing their career in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with cost planning, estimating, and tender preparation
• Supporting the commercial team with valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Monitoring project costs and helping ensure budgets are maintained
• Assisting with procurement of subcontract packages

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication and organisational abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Full UK driving licence
