Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver (Temporary Rolling Contract)

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Contract Type: Temporary - Rolling Contract

Pay Rate - £12.81ph

Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to join our client on a rolling temporary contract. This role will primarily involve forklift truck operation, supporting the safe movement, storage, and dispatch of heavy items within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently

• Loading and unloading heavy items from vehicles

• Moving and placing heavy items into racking locations

• Retrieving machines from racking for dispatch

• Ensuring all loads are handled carefully and stored securely

• Following site health and safety procedures at all times

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Role Details

• The role is primarily FLT driving

• Minimal picking/packing duties, if any

• Handling large items, requiring careful and precise forklift operation

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certification (within the last three years)

• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment

• Comfortable handling large or bulky items

• Good awareness of warehouse health and safety practices

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
