LGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd are a privately owned company and one of the largest convenience retailers in the UK, currently servicing circa. 1,000 Spar convenience stores and employing more than 5000 people with a turnover in excess of £1 billion.

We are currently looking to recruit experienced Class 1 Drivers at our Sittingbourne Outbase. We are offering:

£17.44 per hour,
Additional shifts paid at £20.97 per hour
Early start allowance of £1.75 per hour before 6am

The job role includes:

Multi-drop between 5 and 10 deliveries.
Roll cage deliveries of food to retailers and garage forecourts using refrigerated vehicles and tail-lifts
Collection of empty roll cages and store waste/returns.
Some hand-ball deliveries are required.
Majority of start times are between 0300 and 0600.
6 day operation.
Shift Pattern 4 days out of 6, Monday to Saturday.
