Care Assistant – Community Recovery Services Home / jobs Care Assistant – Community Recovery ServicesLocation: North WarwickshireSalary: £12.36 - £18.54 per hourHours: Full time and part timeCare Assistant – Community Recovery Services in North WarwickshireSummary of roleAs a Care Assistant within our Community Recovery Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to regain confidence, independence, and daily living skills following illness, injury, or hospital admission. Working within the community, you will provide person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and recovery.This role involves supporting people in their own homes to achieve agreed outcomes and rebuild independence, rather than creating long-term dependencyTo assist individuals with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and maintaining hygiene in a respectful and dignified manner.To support clients with mobility, including the safe use of aids, equipment, and rehabilitation techniques as directed by health professionals.To promote independence through encouragement, motivation, and active participation in daily routines such as meal preparation, household tasks, and personal goal setting.To provide support with medication prompts in accordance with individual care plans.To observe, record, and report any changes in an individual's health, wellbeing, or circumstances to the Recovery Support Coordinator or Community Team Lead.To work collaboratively with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses to deliver personalised recovery plans.To encourage engagement in social and therapeutic activities that support emotional and physical wellbeing.To assist with light domestic duties where required, ensuring a safe and comfortable home environment.To maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews, ensuring that care remains responsive and effective.To adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards at all times.Personal attributesIt is essential that Community Recovery Care Assistants possess the following qualities:Compassionate, patient, and understanding.Self-motivated and well organised.Able to encourage and empower others to achieve independence.Flexible and adaptable to changing needs.Reliable and committed to providing high-quality care.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to use own initiative and follow guidance from healthcare professionals.Access to a vehicle and a full UK driving licence.Additional InformationPlease note: We are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.Full induction and ongoing training provided.Opportunities for career progression.Apply for this position Please complete the form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.Upload CV (optional) 3mb maxWe can only accept applications from candidates who already have the eligibility to work in the UK.I have documentation that proves I am eligible to work in the UK.We can only accept applications from candidates who own their own vehicle and have a valid UK driving licence.I own my own vehicle and have a valid UK driving licence.For details on your data rights and how we process the information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
