Are you a Psychology Graduate eager to gain practical experience working with children who need emotional and behavioural support?

A specialist school in Reading is offering an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to work closely with pupils who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges. This role bridges academic theory and real-world practice, making it an excellent foundation for future postgraduate training.

In this Psychology Graduate role, you'll support pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, anxiety, SEMH, and trauma-related behaviours, helping them build confidence, emotional resilience, and engagement with learning.

You'll gain experience in:

Applying psychological principles in an educational setting

Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies

Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils

Assisting with personalised support plans and interventions

Working alongside SEN teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams

Role details

Location: Reading

Pay: £89–£100 per day

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

Start: ASAP

Contract: Long-term
