Job responsibilities
Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Assist residents with personal hygiene, ensuring independence, dignity and respect at all times.
Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalate identified risks in a timely manner.
Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About You
Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home.
Be an efficient worker who can carry out reasonable instructions from other team members.
Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements
This role requires either a DBS disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, or confirmation of equivalent clearances as applicable.
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
