Emotional and Mental Health Support Worker - Slough
OverviewAre you passionate about supporting children with mental health needs? A rewarding position is available for an Emotional and Mental Health Support Worker to work in a school in Slough. This role offers valuable experience while making a significant difference to vulnerable children.
ResponsibilitiesYou will directly help children manage emotions and cope with mental health challenges. Your duties include supporting and shadowing the class teacher, providing 1:1 support for SEN students, running engaging lessons, and managing behaviour.
QualificationsExperience working with vulnerable children is desirable but not essential. A background in sports, art, or drama is advantageous. Graduates in a relevant field will also be considered. The role suits resilient and confident individuals and is ideal for aspiring psychologists, social workers, therapists, and counsellors.

Pay: £85 - £95 per day
Hours: Full-time, Mon – Fri
