Main duties of the jobAs a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care and support to clients in the Agincare Homes. This includes assisting with personal care tasks, medication management, meal preparation, and engaging clients in social activities. You will work closely with the care team to ensure the wellbeing and independence of the clients. The role requires a flexible schedule, with shifts available during the day, evening, and night.

What is required from you?
A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
Must be flexible to work full time
We have part time and full time positions available on day and night shifts
Shit pattern - 08:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 20:00 and 20:00 - 08:00
A day in the life of a Care Assistant
Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

Person SpecificationQualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but a minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK is necessary. Agincare provides fully funded training up to QCF level 5 to support the professional development of their care assistants.
