THE ROLE

We are looking for an ESG Specialist on a 60% basis to strengthen our ESG capabilities across the firm. The successful candidate will work closely with the Investment, Product, and Operations teams and contribute to the full ESG workstream, from implementing our proprietary ESG framework and supporting product development to overseeing reporting obligations for both funds and the organisation.

The position will be based in our London office

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and coordinate ESG reporting obligations at both the fund and corporate level (including SFDR and other relevant regulatory requirements).

• Support with the ESG aspects of new fund launches, and contribute to the development of ESG/impact-focused products

• Support the application of the firm’s proprietary ESG framework, including:

o support the ESG scoring of insurance-related investments

o take ownership of all ESG-related data, ensuring completeness and accuracy

o Ensure harmonization of scoring approaches across instruments and asset classes

o Periodic update and development of the framework as needed

• Monitor ESG regulations and industry developments to ensure the organisation remains compliant and aligned with best practice

• Coordinate and contribute to the firm’s participation in PRI and other ESG-related groups and initiatives

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure ESG considerations are embedded into investment, product, and operational processes

• Support the firm’s engagement and stewardship activities, working with multiple stakeholders

• Assist in preparing ESG-related client and stakeholder communications

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Some relevant experience in financial services with focus on analytics or reporting, and an interest in ESG and sustainability

• Motivation to learn about insurance-related investments and apply ESG concepts in this field

• Strong project management and organisational skills, able to coordinate tasks across teams

• Analytical mindset and attention to detail, with interest in working with both qualitative and quantitative ESG data

• Clear communicator, able to work independently as well as in collaboration with others

• Basic understanding of insurance and insurance-related investments is a plus

• Fluent in English; additional European languages, especially German, are an advantage

• The right to work in the UK
