Sales Support Executive - Customer Service – Distribution

Job description

Working within the CSD, responsible for providing sales order processing support. Collaborate with distribution partners, overseas offices, and Business Division Managers.

Provide customer service support to external distributors, including order taking, complaint handling, and supply chain coordination.

Focus on pre-sales activities and order processing.

Handle lead push-out and serve as the point of contact for general inquiries, e.g., technical or product-related, forwarding to the appropriate team if needed.

Support future e-commerce sales channels such as eBay and Elcometer Shop.

About You:Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a target-driven, results-oriented environment, with a background in sales, customer service, sales support, product management, or business development.

Proven track record in customer management and/or supply chain management within a manufacturing setting.

Experience in customer service, sales order processing, and related administrative and system duties.

Technical sales and marketing experience is desirable.

Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Knowledge of e-commerce platforms.

Skills:

Fluency in English and another language.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to communicate technical product attributes effectively over the phone.

Resilient and capable of handling deadlines and customer issues.

Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Proficient in IT, including Word, Excel, and CRM systems.

Attention to detail in data entry.

Additional skills include good organizational abilities, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and the ability to liaise effectively with various departments and internal customers.
