Apprentice Parts Controller

OverviewAbout This Role As an Apprentice Parts Controller within our Material Handling business, this role is designed for school leavers or early career candidates looking for their first step into the world of asset rental and supply chain operations. You will learn how parts, stock, and inventory keep our engineers moving, while working towards a Supply Chain Practitioner apprenticeship and gaining valuable hands on experience.

Responsibilities

Learning how to manage and monitor stock across depots and engineer vans

Taking parts requests from engineers, workshops, and the service desk

Supporting the purchasing, receiving, and secure storage of parts

Helping process invoices, job sheets, and returns accurately

Building confidence using systems, documentation, and reference tools

About YouYou do not need previous experience in parts, engineering, or supply chain, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. This role suits someone organised, reliable, and keen to understand how a business operates behind the scenes.

GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths is essential

An interest in logistics, stock control, or practical environments

Comfortable speaking with different teams and asking questions

Willing to learn, develop, and work towards a qualification
