We pride ourselves on providing excellent training anddevelopment opportunities for our employees, along with long-termcareer progression.We are looking for experienced Trade Counter Sales Assistants to join our Acton branch.Your duties will include:Greeting, serving and assisting customersTaking, making and returning phone callsProviding customers with advice and guidance on product selectionQuoting and liaising with customersTaking orders for deliveries and ensuring that the delivery is completed by transportFollowing company procedures for sales/returns (In General about 3 months before doing Returns)Taking cash and card paymentsBalancing cash registers with receiptsEnsuring customer complaints are dealt with promptly and efficientlyOrdering special order items-following up returns to suppliers when necessary.Stock taking and stock checksKeeping the counter clean and tidyKeeping up to date with promotions updating displaysAdherence to health and safety legislationFollowing the trade counter supervisors' instructionsPerson Specification:At least one years' experience of working in the building merchants or trade industry experience on a trade counter would be preferred but training will be provided.Ability to manage and prioritise workloadExcellent team playerCompliance with Company Health and Safety and Security and Privacy policiesGood IT SkillsShare this job Know someone who'd be great for this role?
