Junior PMO Analyst Level: Entry‐level / Early careerExperience: Interest in PMO/project work, self‐study, bootcamp graduates, or up to 12 months' experienceAbout the Role We're partnering with an organisation that's looking for a Junior PMO Analyst to support projects and programmes across the business. This role is a great fit for someone early in their career who wants to learn how projects are planned, governed, and delivered in a real operational environment.You'll work closely with the PMO team, supporting Project and Programme Managers with reporting, scheduling, financial tracking, and general governance activities. Over time, you'll build confidence and develop strong PMO skills through hands‐on experience, clear processes, and guidance from experienced colleagues.What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll help the delivery teams by:Keeping project and programme documentation up to date (plans, RAID logs, status reports)Supporting project scheduling and tracking key milestonesAssisting with basic financial tasks such as budgets, forecasts, and actualsUpdating PMO dashboards and regular reportsHelping maintain accurate data across project tools and spreadsheetsPreparing materials for governance meetings and stakeholder updatesMaking sure PMO standards, templates, and ways of working are followedLearning how projects are prioritised and governed at a portfolio levelYou'll be encouraged to ask questions, grow your confidence, and gradually take on more responsibility.Essential Requirements To do well in this role, you'll need:An interest in projects, change delivery, or PMO workStrong attention to detail and a methodical approachConfidence working with data, spreadsheets, and reportsGood written and verbal communication skillsA willingness to learn, take feedback, and follow structured processesEligibility to work in the UKAbility to obtain SC clearanceWe welcome applications from:Bootcamp graduatesCareer changers interested in PM/PMOAnyone with up to 12 months' experience in project support, PMO, or deliveryDesirable (Not Required) These aren't essential, but they're a bonus:Foundation project qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, APM PFQ, Agile/Scrum Foundation)Experience with Power BI or reporting toolsGood Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data validation)Any experience supporting projects, even outside a formal PMO roleFamiliarity with project artefacts like RAID logs, plans, or status reportsIf you're working towards any of these, that's absolutely fine.What We Offer A supportive environment focused on your developmentClear PMO standards, templates, and guidanceExposure to real projects and programmesCoaching from experienced PMO and delivery professionalsA strong platform to progress into roles such as:PMO AnalystProject ManagerProgramme Support / Delivery rolesOur Approach to Hiring We care more about your potential, attitude, and willingness to learn than a long list of qualifications.
