Our team works across UX, design, and development for clients ranging from global brands to fast-growing scale-ups.The Role We're looking for a part-time Finance Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations. This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially-minded finance professional who's comfortable working independently, maintaining oversight of cashflow, payroll, and monthly accounts.You'll work closely with the Directors to provide financial clarity and confidence as we continue to grow.This role is hybrid and based out of our Manchester City Centre studio.Responsibilities Day-to-Day FinanceInvoicingOversee and reconcile Xero accountsManage monthly payroll, pension contributions, and HMRC submissionsProcess and approve staff expensesLiaise with external accountants and ensure all filings are accurate and timely

Management AccountsProduce monthly management accounts, including P&L, cashflow, and balance sheetTrack budget vs. Actuals and flag any issues proactivelyProvide financial reports to Directors with commentary and insightsSupport budgeting and forecasting

Finance OperationsMaintain financial systems and processes (Xero)Support supplier and client contract reviews from a financial perspectiveReview financial risks and support commercial decision-making

Requirements Proven experience in a finance manager or similar role, ideally within a small business or agencyExcellent working knowledge of XeroExperience running payroll and handling HMRC submissionsComfortable preparing management accounts and financial reports independentlyStrong attention to detail, and able to work autonomouslyGood commercial awareness and communication skills

Bonus Points Experience in a digital agency or service business
