Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our brand new nursery opening in July 2025.Your primary focus will be on supporting the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.Hours will be agreed on a weekly basis and may vary, paid up to £14 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.Key responsibilities:Provide high-quality care and education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our own curriculum.Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.Observe, assess and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues.Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for all children.Work collaboratively with your team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.Uphold nursery policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safeguarding regulations.Qualifications and skills required:Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare is desired but not essential.Experience working in a nursery or early years settingSound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.Enhanced DBS check clearance is required.If you are passionate about early education and eager to make a positive impact on children's lives, we encourage you to apply!Bupa Employee Assistance.
