Shift times: 8am – 3pm, 3pm – 10pm (a combination of the two).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team in Belong Morris Feinmann .

About the RoleAs a care assistant, you will work together with other staff in the running of the household. You will aim to maintain high standards of care and service towards customers, relatives, visitors and other members of staff. You will provide a range of personal and practical care to our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for older people

Self‐motivated, resilient and well‐organised

Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household

Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents

Be alert to residents' needs, health and wellbeing

Respect the residents' dignity and privacy

Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual

Assist with mealtimes and safe moving

Maintain accurate records for each resident

Skills and Experience

Excellent communication and written skills

Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect

Previous experience working within an elderly care setting

Team player but able to work on your own initiative

Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
