Our client is seeking to recruit a Native French and/or Dutch speaking Customer Service Advisor to join their small team, based in Cambridge City Centre. Candidates will be able to demonstrate previous experience within a customer service/administrative based role. You will have an excellent customer‐focussed manner and be a friendly and enthusiastic team player, with a flexible attitude to assist and provide support wherever needed. This is a part‐time role, working 20 hours a week. Your working pattern will be Monday‐Friday 1pm – 5pm. All working hours are office based.
PLEASE NOTE: from April to October, you should be available to switch one weekday shift to a Saturday shift every other week (home‐based 3pm-7pm).
Key Duties
Reply to customer enquiries, primarily via email, but also by phone when requiredAmend bookings and manage/address special requestsPro‐actively deal with any customer issues arisingAddressing customer complaints, escalating where necessaryProviding additional support to the team during quieter periods. This can include assisting with translation work
Key Skills and Experience
Fluent German and/or Dutch speaker (both written and spoken)Demonstrable experience with Customer Service/Administrative based rolesPrevious experience within the Travel industry would be advantageousSelf‐starter, motivated with a positive 'can‐do' attitudeWell‐organised with the ability to prioritise workloadGreat customer‐focused manner, effective communicatorStrong attention to detailGood problem‐solving skillsGood IT skills with competency in MS OfficeCommitted and hard‐working with a flexible approach
