Pay: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year

About the Role

We're looking for a confident, customer‐focused Sales Customer Service Advisor with practical knowledge of joinery or carpentry to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, understands timber and construction products, and thrives in a fast‐paced retail or trade environment.

What You'll Do

Provide outstanding customer service across in‐store, online, and telephone enquiries

Support customers with technical advice on joinery, carpentry materials, tools, and installation requirements

Recommend suitable products based on customer needs, measurements, and project specifications

Explain product features, benefits, and applications clearly and confidently

Assist customers in locating items and guide them through the full purchasing and payment process

Handle complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently

Process quotes and sales accurately while maintaining high service standards

Work with sales leads to convert enquiries into successful purchases

Build strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business and loyalty with trade and end‐user customers.

What You'll Bring

Practical experience or strong technical understanding of joinery/carpentry

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Confidence in explaining technical information in a clear, friendly way

Ability to problem‐solve and support customers with project‐specific queries

A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn

Experience in retail, trade counters, or customer service
