You\'ll be managing complete financial portfolios for residential estates, working directly with Estate Management teams, external accountants, and occasionally clients and leaseholders. The role provides comprehensive exposure to service charge accounting, from budget preparation through to year-end accounts, giving you invaluable experience in a growing sector.Key responsibilities Prepare and load accurate annual service charge budgets for property portfoliosProcess billing for service charges, ground rent, and additional fees to leaseholdersPrepare comprehensive year-end service charge accountsCollaborate with external accountants during account reviews and auditsManage utility and insurance recharges to leaseholdersHandle tax administration and compliance requirementsMaintain accurate financial records and documentationSupport the Estate Management team with financial queriesRequirements Relevant accounting experience (service charge experience advantageous but not essential)Strong numeracy and analytical skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Qube experience beneficial)Collaborative approach with ability to work across departmentsProfessional attitude with customer service focusOrganised approach to managing multiple prioritiesRewards and benefits Competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annumHybrid working arrangement with flexible home/office balanceComprehensive training and development programmesClear career progression opportunities within growing organisationSupportive team environment with collaborative cultureProfessional development support for accounting qualificationsPositive workplace culture where contributions are recognisedOpportunity to work with award-winning property management leaderSeniority level Entry levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Accounting/Auditing and Finance
