Are you looking to build your career in Quantity Surveying within a supportive and forward‐thinking commercial team?

We are looking for a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our IWS M&E division.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their QS career who is eager to develop their commercial expertise, gain hands‐on project experience, and contribute to profitable project delivery.

You will play a key role in providing commercial and contractual support to operational teams, ensuring strong contract administration and commercial governance from project commencement through to final account.

The Role

Assist with day‐to‐day commercial administration and project cost management

Contribute pricing and financial information to tenders, bids and cost plans

Support preparation of cost‐to‐complete (CTC) reports and budget reviews

Assist with subcontract procurement, order placement and account management

Support preparation and assessment of variations, compensation events and extensions of time

Help prepare valuations, applications for payment and cash flow forecasts

Contribute to monthly financial and management reporting

Attend internal and client commercial meetings

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures

Promote strong cost control and commercial awareness across project teams

Uphold Health & Safety as a core priority in all activities

What you'll need

Degree or working towards qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and organisational ability

Proactive attitude with willingness to learn

Ability to work collaboratively within commercial and operational teams

Understanding of construction contracts (desirable but not essential)
