Business Administration Apprenticeship – Level 3 About AMS Nuclear AMS Nuclear is an engineering company that specialises in the design and build of Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) based systems for the nuclear industry. We now have opportunities for apprentices to join us in our engineering and project offices.The Opportunity The business administrator apprentice will engage and interact with different parts of the organisation. You will have a focus on adding value as the role of business administrator contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows you to develop a wide range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, such as illustrated below:Following the successful completion of the apprenticeship there would be several next step career paths open to you, for example:Project controls and project managementPurchasingFinanceMarketingBusiness DevelopmentWhat you'll need to apply Five GCSE's at Grade C / Grade 4 or above, including English and MathsYou'll have the ability to work in a team and independently, as well as being able to balance the responsibilities of study and workDesire to learn and develop your skillsApplicants must be able to make their own travel arrangements to AMS Nuclear (in Bridgwater) and Bridgwater & Taunton College.The typical length of this apprenticeship is 18 months to 2 years in the workplace with college attendance typically one half day per week over 20 weeks for knowledge delivery, with six weekly visits from your Assessor in the workplace to build your portfolio and carry out reviews.How to find out more If you are interested to learn more about apprenticeships at AMS Nuclear, please reach out to us at careers@ams-nuclear.com .
