Overview Knowledge Lawyer - Employment - Exeter - Part Time (3-4 Days). Location: Exeter. Type of Role: Part Time, Permanent. Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 FTE (dependent on experience).A highly respected regional law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Knowledge Lawyer to join its established Employment team in Exeter. This is a part time opportunity (3-4 days per week) to play a pivotal role in supporting a top ranked department known for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused employment advice across the public and private sectors.The Opportunity The Employment team advises businesses, public sector bodies and senior executives on the full spectrum of employment law, including:Contracts, policies and HR documentationWorkplace disputes and disciplinary mattersDiscriminationTUPERedundancyComplex employment litigationIn this non-fee earning role, you will ensure the team remains fully up to date with legal developments, market trends and best practice. Your responsibilities will include:Producing and maintaining internal guidance notes, protocols, precedents and templatesDelivering regular legal updates and training sessionsMonitoring legislative and case law developmentsSupporting fee earners with technical queriesWorking closely with the wider Knowledge Management teamYour work will directly enhance the team's ability to deliver technically excellent, commercially sound advice to clients.Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a qualified Employment lawyer with:6+ years' PQE (flexible for strong candidates)Strong technical expertise across employment lawExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA proactive, organised and detail focused approachStrong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesA collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships across all levelsConfidence delivering training and influencing internal stakeholdersYou will be known for your positive, solutions focused attitude and your ability to translate complex legal developments into clear, practical guidance.Working Environment The firm is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive and forward thinking workplace.
