Location: Hybrid (3 days Air IT South (Milton Keynes / Thames Valley / London))

Contract Type: Full-time

Job PurposeWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Professional Services Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their technical skills and gain hands-on experience in delivering IT projects within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

You will play a key role in Service Transition, supporting the onboarding and offboarding of clients to ensure a smooth and professional experience. Working closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and the PS Engineer team, you will assist in implementing technical solutions and completing project tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with client onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all technical elements are delivered accurately and efficiently

Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes.

Maintain accurate records of all project activities within the PSA system.

Support the delivery of IT projects in line with agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

A passion for IT and a strong desire to learn and develop

Experience in IT support or project delivery, ideally at a 2nd Line level or equivalent

Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Entra ID, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory)

Awareness of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A valid UK driving licence

Exposure to Microsoft Azure including endpoint management (Intune)

Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access

Understanding of SaaS based solutions (SentinelOne, Keeper, ITGlue. Datto)

Understanding of network switches, routers and firewalls

Experience with email migrations.
