We are currently recruiting for an experienced Night Shift Hygiene Team Leader to join a leading food manufacturing business based in Witham.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail‐oriented individual with strong leadership skills to take the next step in their career within a fast‐paced production environment.As the Hygiene Team Leader, you'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all production areas, leading a small team of Hygiene Operatives, and ensuring full compliance with site standards and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of Hygiene Operatives during the night shiftCarry out high‐level cleaning and disinfection of all production areas, including production lines and associated equipmentEnsure all cleaning is completed to site and customer standards, following detailed cleaning instruction cardsManage chemical and consumable stock, including ordering and safe handling in line with COSHH requirementsMaintain accurate cleaning records and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all timesWork collaboratively with production and management teams to identify and resolve hygiene‐related issuesSkills & Experience Required Previous experience overseeing hygiene operations within a food manufacturing or similar production environmentStrong understanding of hygiene processes, COSHH regulations, and Health & Safety requirementsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to follow and implement cleaning schedulesGood communication and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic education level with the ability to read and understand written instructionsSalary £31,200 per annumBenefits Company pension schemeHealth & wellbeing programmeEmployee discounts and store discountsFree or discounted foodCycle‐to‐work schemeCasual dress policyCompany eventsOn‐site parkingSick pay
